| Classroom |
All the constituent units of our University have their own magnificent
and well-designed buildings. They have spacious classrooms,
and the state of art laboratories and libraries. Both our Dhankawadi
and Erandwane campuses have auditorium and seminar rooms furnished
with the latest audio-video equipment. Our laboratories are
constantly updated and so are our libraries. Both the campuses
have well designed landscapes, which add to their beauty.
2. Our Faculty
All our constituent units have carefully selected experienced
faculty members who are well versed in their respective disciplines.
They give students personal attention.
3. Socio-cultural life on the campuses
Every constituent college encourages its students to form
their own cultural, literary and other organisation wherein
they can give expressions to their innate potentials.

4. Hostels
We have hostels on both the campuses. On our Dhankawadi campus,
there are 5 girls’ hostels, which accommodates about
1000 inmates. There is also one boys’ hostel, which
accommodates about 300 boys.
On our Erandwane campus, hostel accommodation is available
for boys and girls each having a capacity of about 140 inmates.
All these hostels are provided with all the necessary amenities
and facilities. Each hostel has its own mess. Besides there
are several cafeterias catering to the needs of students on
both the campuses.

5. International Guest House
An International Guest House with a capacity of about 100
rooms providing good comfort and other facilities will soon
be available.
6. Sports and Gymkhana facilities
Both the campuses have well designed and well maintained playgrounds
where various sports facilities are made available to the
students. Students are deputed to participate in various national
level tournaments as well as inter university tournaments.

7. Course content
This University enjoys enormous academic autonomy
which it utilizes for updating and tuning its courses and
their contents to the changing needs of the society. Since
its establishment, the University has carried out an exercise
of modification and modernization of syllabi of all its courses.
It has also introduced various innovative academic programmes
for the benefits of its students.
8. Academic schedule
The University prepares and follows its academic calendar
sincerely. The teaching work in all its constituent units
starts mostly in the second or third week of June every year.
The classes are held regularly so also the examinations. The
examination results are declared within scheduled time.

9. Our Hospitals
The University has four hospitals, two of Allopathy
including a Dental hospital, and one each of Ayurved and Homoeopathy
which are attached to the colleges of respective disciplines.
Our main hospital of Allopathy, located in our Dhankawadi
campus, is 730 bedded hospital, well equipped with the latest
equipment. The bed strength of Ayurved and Homoeopathic Hospitals
is 300 and 100 respectively with state of art facility. The
clinical teaching work for the students of these respective
colleges and also of those of our Nursing College is done
in these hospitals.

10. Our Campuses in Pune
The institutions/colleges which are constituent units
of Bharati Vidyapeeth University are located in two
campuses in the city, one at Erandwane in the heart of city
and the other at Dhankawadi at about 7 k.m. from the central
part of the city.
11. Degrees and Diplomas
The very fact that this University has come into existence
under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act of
1956 and has the approval and the recognition of the Government
of India, the University Grants Commission and other Statutory
Councils like the All India Council for Technical Education,
Medical Council of India, Dental Council of India, Pharmacy
Council of India, Bar Council of India and the like, have
lent its degrees and diplomas the same status as those awarded
by other statutory universities in India. They are also recognised
by other Universities on reciprocal basis, as well as, by
the Government of Maharashtra.
